Horatius Macellarius is the Summus of the Beverwijk Macellarius, and the eldest of the line in the Western Netherlands at present. While the family has made it's home in Beverwijk for centuries, they have until quite recently, remained completely seperated from Kindred politics. Only in the last decade or so have they begun to exert themselves over other Kindred, claiming domain over beverwijk. Fortunately for them, no other Kindred had made their home in the town, which is just aswell, with just under 40.000 inhabitants, it isn't big enough to support many Kindred in addition to the gluttons.

Tonight, under Horatius Macellarius, the family is making a concerted push to gain increased standing within established Kindred society, and they've yet to hit any significant roadblocks on this path. The sudden rebellion of the youngest of the family however is poised to change this. He's 'escaped' the family and has made a new home for himself within the city of Amsterdam itself.
