Everyone knows the relic that lurks in the catacombs. Whether from their brief encounters with him in the dark or from the whispers in the corner of the Church, everyone knows of the Kindred who claims to have been Templar. As passionate about his martial prowess as he is about the need for Kindred to serve their divine purpose, to drive the flock to God, Sanglahr has been haunting the city for at least four centuries, allowing for a rather long duration in the sleep of eclipse.
The more devout Sanctified amongst those who do in fact believe that Sanglahr was once a Templar Knight claim that, in his greed, the man that Sanglahr once was attempted to seize the Holy Grail for himself and was cursed by God, becoming the damned creature he now is.
Though a member of the Sanctified since Embrace, whispers still abound that Sanglahr participated in the uprising of the Kerzian revolutionaries.
He defeated both hounds of the city as they moved to aid the Prince, diablerizing both of them.
When the Invictus reclaimed the throne, Sanglahr was hunted down to be put to final death. Instead, due to the influence of the Bishop, he was put into torpor for an undetermined amount of time.
