Because somehow, we're still here.
Nine Streets
Named after the 9 small streets it's made up out of, the Nine Streets district is filled with small, unusual and unique shops selling nearly anything that you can imagine, but can't find at ordinary stores. Besides the stores and homes, the district also houses several museums; namely the Biblical Museum, and the Glasses Museum (which believe it or not, is devoted entirely to the 700 year history of Glasses). It's also home to the Felix Meritis monumental building, and the Dutch Institute for War Documentation, which conducts research into WW2.
