Slotermeer
Slotermeer's full name is Geuzenveld-Slotermeer, and is a city burrough of Amsterdam with a population of around 42.000. Constructed according to the Garden-City concept, the district is typical of the city's urban edge, with a mix of low, mid, and high-rises and serving an almost purely residential purpose.
It does however include the Sloterplas, (which is also divided amongst Slotervaart and Osdorp), a lake and park area which has a ample recreation possibilities.
